   This was a serviceable buttstock, that was definitively surplus. It still had red clay dust from Ft. Polk, the Benning School for Boys, or the exotic parts of the Far East. The finish had very small blems, that were removed by 4 sandings with fine sandpaper. Four coats of satin black paint, & it looks great. The sling swivel was replaced, with the stud removed, repainted, & re-installed. The stock was worth the effort!
