The Faxon Superfinished 6.8 SPC / .224 Valkyrie Bolt Carrier Group (Nitride) is a high-performance, full-auto compatible BCG designed for smooth cycling, reliable extraction, and long service life in AR-15 rifles chambered for 6.8 SPC and .224 Valkyrie. Seeing “MIL-SPEC” as the starting point, Faxon enhances the details that matter most: materials, inspection, and surface finishing.

This BCG features a 9310 tool steel bolt that is fully MPI tested, heat treated, and shot peened. The assembly is treated with salt bath nitride to increase surface hardness, decrease resistance, and provide superior corrosion resistance compared to typical chrome or phosphate finishes.

Faxon Bolt Carrier Groups are Superfinished to reduce friction, increase smoothness of operation, and reduce fouling. The carrier is M16 pattern (full-auto compatible) and maintains the trip for full-auto fire control groups and many modern multi-stage trigger systems. Gas keys use grade 8 fasteners and are fully staked for long-term reliability.
