The Magpul Suppressor Cover installs directly onto suppressors like the Surefire® SOCOM556-RC2 and similar to shield against heat and quickly cool high temperatures with airflow. The outer shell is heat-resistant polymer, protecting the shooter, clothing and equipment. The inner core includes a raised stainless steel heat shield that uses clamps to affix directly to the suppressor and support the outer shell. The cover’s design leaves gaps between the outer shell and inner core shaped to encourage constant airflow over the suppressor for natural cooling effect.
